Sept 30 - Homecoming and First Edition

Today is Hillcrest's Homecoming game. We are playing Preston I'd, so we are looking for Napoleon Dynamite. Not sure if we will see him or not. Lets hope we win.

Also, the first edition of "The Knight Times" came out. This is the school newspaper which Mariah is the editor (or "the big boss" as we call her). She wrote a great article on Patriotism and there is also a feature article about her. Look for copies on EBay soon. We look forward to more editions.

Sept 29 - Moving

Over the past couple of days we have helped a family load up a moving van. The Kearse family is moving back to MO. It is always fun to move. They are a good family that will be missed.

Sept 28 - Micah the Detective

Micah loves the Nancy Drew computer games. She got this from Mariah. They love to play together and can't wait for the next game. This is an old game that they are replaying.

Sept 27 - Road Show Practice

Another Tuesday night, another road show practice. Road show is in a couple of weeks. Should be a fun night.

Sept 26 - Best Buy

The kids all wanted to go to Best Buy tonight so who am I to argue with them?

Of course Micah had to pose for the camera.

Sept 25 - 144,400 and Counting

The truck now has 144,400 miles on it. Back on Aug 24 it had 144,000. So that is about 400 miles in a month. How many miles do you put on your car in a month?

Sept 24 - Clearing out the corn

Today we cleared out the corn. We filled my truck to the brim (which is not hard to do). It looks different without the corn.

Sept 23 - Another trip to the Dentist

Another successful trip to the dentist office. We have a great dentist.

Sept 22 - Football Game

Tonight Wendy and I went to the high school JV football game. Our team lost but we had a good time. Several friends of ours play on the team or cheerlead for the school

These where taken with my iPhone so they are not the best.

Sept 21 - Hole-in-one

Today our bishop hit his first hone-in-one. He sent me this picture while I was at work. So, not only did he rub it in that he was golfing, but he also rubbed it in that he got a hole-in-one.

I'm very happy for him.

Sept 20 - Road Show Practice

Practice, who needs practice?

Well our ward youth group does. Tonight the young men practiced their dance part.

The youth in our stake are putting on a road show in October. It should be a fun night.

Sept 19 - Game Night

So many games and so little time to play them.

Sept 18 - Clean room

Had to take a picture of Micah's clean room. This doesn't happen very often. She is starting to take after her big sister. Micah has not yet reached the skill level of Mariah, but she is working on it

Truthfully, Micah does keep a fairly clean room.

Sept 17 - Open House at INL

Today there was a open house at the INL. The family got to see my office (which is not very exciting). We couldn't take pictures of my office so I don't have anything to post except for a picture of the visitor badge.

Sept 16 - Old Works Golf Course

Today a bunch of friends headed up to Anaconda, MT to play 36 holes of golf at "Old Works".  This is a GREAT golf course and one that every golfer within distance should play.  It is always rated very high in national publications and it is the funnest course I have played.

This is the third year that we have gone up and the first year that I did not get any pictures ..... sorry.  I did include a couple from past years and the link to the course so you can check it out for yourself.

It is a Jack Nickauls signature course

Sept 15 - Jetpack Joyride - HELP

Ok, so I got a new game for my iPhone called Jetpack Joyride. I love this dumb game and I can't stop playing it. Below is a screen shot of the game (it allow for you to save a picture of the game you are playing).

Sept 14 - National Guard Homecoming

For the past year we have had a member of our ward serving in Iraq. He came home today. Not sure if this was his second or third tour (maybe more?). It was good to see him.

We put about a dozen flags out in his yard.

Sept 13 - Thor

Got a new movie today. Wendy liked Thor so we got it. Not sure if it was because of the actor or the movie. I'm too scared to ask.

Sept 12 - Dinner by Mariah

Mariah made dinner tonight. Not sure what it was but it reminded me of the green jello in "Better off Dead".

Ok, it was not green, more of a yellow color.

Sept 11 - Flag and Art by Micah

Let us never forget what happened 10 years ago. Our ward put out flags today and it was the right thong to do. There was some talk about doing this on a Sunday.

You can also see some art work that Micah did a few days ago. The body outline is where Mariah parks her car (but I bet you could have guessed this)

Sept 4 - 10 Catching up and Garden

I know it has been awhile since my last post. Time has gotten away from me. But I have been taking pictures. Here are some pictures from the week of Sept 4 - 10, ad you can see they are mainly of the garden. You will also see Bogey and our flag we posted on Labor Day.

Sept. 3- Micah Freaks Out!

Mariah was kind of bored today, so she made a video to the song "Le Freak" by using many pictures of family members and friends. You can check it out at this link!

Have fun enjoying Micah freaking out!

Sept 2 - Shots for Tyler and Mariah

Today Tyler and Mariah had to get shots for school.  They each got 5.  I have no idea why 5, but that is what they needed.  I like all the colorful band-aids.

Sept 1 - Temple

Today I went to do some temple work.  Took this picture as I was walking out.  The IF temple is a great temple.  Can't wait until they are done with the landscape work.  Not the best picture with the white clouds and the white temple, but you get the idea.
