Oct 10 - Straw Maze and Big Juds

We went to a straw maze and Big Juds tonight. It was a blast

Oct 9 - Family Building Blocks

It takes all of us to make a family. I love my family. I know there are no pictures of the Welch's from Colorado, however you know you are a major part of our family.

Oct 8 - Pumpkins

Our family had a good time at the baptism and carving pumpkins.

Oct 7 - BYU Visit

Today we all went down to BYU for a campus tour. Mariah wanted to visit campus so we signed up for an official tour. We drove around in a golf cart and visited all "the old hot spots". We also visited with Kaitlin. We had a real good time.

Tonight we tried on some new hats.

Oct 4 - Taste of Home

Tonight I cooked dinner for the family. So I cooked my dad's famous Mac & Tomato dinner. I was the only one to eat it so I also had to cook Mac & Cheese.

Oct 2 - Conference at Bates

We spent the day at the Bates home watching conference and Mariah opened up some early birthday gifts.

Below are some pictures of Grandma Bates taking pictures for her blog. These are not all the pictures she took, but she did take a lot.

Oct 1 - What I learned about Conference Sarurday

Two important lessons I learned today.

1. The golf course on Saturday morning was not kind to me. I played nine holes today and, even though it was a great morning, I did not play any better. Below is a picture of some of teeing off.

2. Do NOT go shopping in-between conference secessions. It was "crazy busy" at the store. It felt like half of Idaho Fall was at the store.

Sept 30 - Homecoming and First Edition

Today is Hillcrest's Homecoming game. We are playing Preston I'd, so we are looking for Napoleon Dynamite. Not sure if we will see him or not. Lets hope we win.

Also, the first edition of "The Knight Times" came out. This is the school newspaper which Mariah is the editor (or "the big boss" as we call her). She wrote a great article on Patriotism and there is also a feature article about her. Look for copies on EBay soon. We look forward to more editions.
