April 28 - Nielson Family

We have been asked to be a Nielson family for the next week.  We have to record our TV viewing for the next week in a diary.  Each of our TVs has a diary and it will be good to see what shows we watch and how much TV we are watching.  The whole family is involved in this project and we are all committed to doing it.

I know how important these ratings are to broadcast companies and advertisers.  We got a phone call a couple of weeks ago asking if we would do this and they have had a couple of follow up calls with us.  It should be an interesting week.

All television is educational television.  The question is:  what is it teaching?
