March 26 - New Sink

Today we put in a new faucet in our bathroom.  The old one had broke and it was time to get a new one.  I have never put in a faucet before so it was a learning experience for the whole family.  Wendy and I went and bought one Friday night so we could work on this today.

I had some church work to do in the morning, so when this was over we started on the project.  We took out the old faucet and drain (which was the hardest part of the project, we we could not get the old drain out).  But after viewing some YouTube videos, we figured out how to remove it.

We also noticed that we needed to get new water lines, so Wendy went to the store while I put the faucet.  Wendy and Tyler came back with the parts and we put the new lines in.  We put the drain in and got everything put back together.  We turned it on and, to everyone surprise, there was no leaks.

The project took a couple of hours, only one trip to the store, and no need to repent from saying bad words.  So, all in all, it was a good project.

Housework is something you do that nobody notices until you don't do it.

  1. That is great that you figured it all out. Sometimes the computer comes in handy.
